Project Description

Univamedan.ac.id is the official website of Universitas Al Washliyah Medan, designed to deliver essential information to the public. This platform serves as a central hub for details on new student admissions, academic and non-academic activities, campus news, and official university announcements.

Design and Development

I designed the website’s frontend with a modern, professional, responsive, and user-friendly interface. my main focus was to create a clean layout compatible with all digital devices, ensuring an optimal user experience.

The website structure was built from the ground up with a mobile-friendly approach. We also implemented a multilingual feature to reach international visitors, while maintaining consistent layout and color schemes to strengthen a professional brand identity aligned with the character of an educational institution.

SEO Optimization and Site Performance

We conducted comprehensive on-page SEO optimization to improve the visibility of univamedan.ac.id in search engines.

Our key actions included:

• Structuring headings and meta tags according to SEO standards

• Writing and optimizing articles with targeted keywords

• Technical optimizations such as improving loading speed, compressing images, adding alt text, and ensuring mobile-friendly design

• Monitoring performance using Google Search Console and SEO plugins

Through these optimizations, the website’s articles successfully ranked on the first page of Google for targeted keywords.
